How to get there
The closest large international airport is New Delhi International Airport. There are three ways to reach Ludhiana from New Delhi.

Railway Express Train
This is the fastest (4 hours), most economical, most comfortable and most dependable way of travel between New Delhi and Ludhiana.  Air-conditioned Deluxe Chair seating and sanitation facilities are provided. One way rail fare is US$ 15. The ticket covers snacks and refreshments on the train.  Children below 12 years of age travel at half fare.  Advance reservation (complete train & hotel reservation form) is recommended.

Bus or taxi
Journey by road takes longer (7 to 8 hours) and is less comfortable:  there is no provision of sanitation facilities in the bus and traffic jams are common due to heavy traffic and vehicles travelling at slow speed.  We only recommend the journey by road when it is not possible to take the train. Bus fare is compatible with the rail fare.

Chartered Domestic Air Flight

Chartered flights are subject to a minimum number of advance reservations.  Total time needed from the International Airport in New Delhi to Ludhiana Airport, including road transfers and check-in time, is comparable to that of the journey by rail.  One way air fare is US$ 100 and likely to go up to US$ 120 by next year.  Charters only operate by day and delays can be expected on occasional foggy days in November.

We make the following reservations
after receiving your completed train & hotel reservation form.
